After that, he’s a little less than friendly and definitely not one to share his own plans for avoiding said apocalypse.
To top it all off, what started as a standard exorcism managed to bring actual luck into the fray, and not in Vivienne’s favor. Christine, a young ghost trying to break the rules of reality to turn into a luck spirit, just wants a second chance at life—even if that luck comes with a price on her head.
But as Vivienne already knows, there are worse things than death. She must wrangle together this unlikely crew to stop an ancient, angry god from being summoned into their realm. It’s a shame Vivienne has baggage (including hampered magical ability and an allergy to death); that Isaac refuses to cooperate despite the covens demanding his death; and that Christine can’t control luck or the angry, protective spirit who’s trying to help her.
Together, they’ll stop an apocalypse. Or so we hope.
